Perennial high school football powerhouse, Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport La., is coming off the worst season in school history in 2020 with a record of 0-9. After having won 2 National Championships and 14 State Championships, losing is not an option at this school of just 300 students. The visionary who started the program over 30 years ago and who led it to national prominence, Pastor and Coach Denny Duron, has come out of retirement to do it again. But this time , he has nearly ALL freshmen and sophomore players.
